Partner, Assurance
David Lim has more than 15 years of extensive experience in professional and public accounting services in varied industries serving local, multinational and listed companies. He began his professional career in a local practice before moving to reputable mid-tier firms and Big Four accounting firms Deloitte & Touche and Ernst & Young where he was senior manager. He has also served as chief financial officer and independent director of a listed companies.
Besides advising companies on their IPOs mainly on the Singapore Exchange, he has also assisted companies on various corporate actions such as mergers & acquisitions, due diligence reviews, issuance and listing of debt and equity securities and fund-raising activities from private equities, venture capital and mezzanine funds for privately-held entities. He is also regularly involved in providing training for staff members and seminars for clients.
He graduated from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and a member of CPA Australia.
Lex Oh is currently a practising member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He holds a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
With over 18 years of extensive experience in professional and public accounting services, Lex Oh has served diverse industries, including local and multinational companies as well as listed companies. His professional journey began at a reputable mid-tier accounting firm before he joined Deloitte & Touche LLP, Singapore.
Apart from serving as reporting accountant for companies' initial public offerings (IPOs) primarily on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). He also actively supported companies in various corporate actions, such as facilitating mergers & acquisitions, conducting due diligence reviews, spearheading fundraising initiatives and implementing regularisation plans when he held roles as a Group Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer of SGX listed companies.
Jessica Lim
Partner, Assurance
Jessica Lim is a Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant of Singapore (“CA (Singapore)”), and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“FCCA”). She has over 13 years of experience in audit and assurance services.
Jessica Lim began her career at a mid-tier accounting firm in Singapore, where she honed her expertise in statutory audits and developed a robust understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements. Over the years, she has led audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from private limited companies to multinational corporations. Her industry experience spans a wide spectrum, including, manufacturing, construction, trading and retail, service providers, trust and fund management, remittance, money lending, money changing, investment holding, shipping, and the travel industry.
In addition, Jessica Lim has substantial experience working with non-profit organisations, including charities and Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs), demonstrating her versatility and understanding of sector-specific compliance and governance frameworks.
Poh Ling
Director of Accounting and Corporate Secretarial Services
Poh Ling is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (‘CA Singapore”), Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“FCCA”), practising member of the Chartered Secretaries Institute of Singapore (“CSIS”), Accredited Tax Practitioner (“ATP”) in Income Tax, CEI (KAH) holder, IBF Qualified (Level 1) and Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner (“FChFP”).
She is an experienced trainer and speaker, having conducted BizFinx training for the Singapore Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (SAICSA), and presented at programmes organised by ACRA and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) on revised XBRL filing requirements and the BizFinx filing system.
Poh Ling began her career with Deloitte & Touche LLP, Singapore, where she rose to Senior Manager in the Assurance & Advisory Division. She managed audits of private, multinational, and listed companies across industries such as retail, manufacturing, services, construction, shipping, hospitality, and non-profit organisations. She also worked on certification audits, agreed-upon procedures, and fraud investigations, including cross-border audits involving Indonesia and Malaysia.
She later joined Geo Energy Resources Limited, where she led the accounting division in preparing group consolidation accounts and the prospectus for its successful listing on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).
